Дорогие друзья!

На этой неделе предлагаем обратиться к японской исторической драме Масаки Кобаяси “Восставший” (1967), также известную как “Бунт самураев”. Картина признана одной важнейших в жанре дзидайгэки, однако по сравнению со многими самурайскими сагами ее отличает реализм, глубокое погружение в дух эпохи и фокус на семейной трагедии. В центре повествования — судьба самурайской семьи во времена эпохи Эдо (XVIII век), где титулованный мастер меча Исабуро Сасахара (в исполнении Тосиро Мифунэ) решает бросить вызов правящему клану ради защиты чести своей невестки и сына. Под угрозой неминуемой гибели герои отказываются подчиниться абсурдной воле властей и поднимают бунт против укоренившейся системы. Предлагаем вместе с нами обратиться к драме о борьбе за справедливость, свободу и отказ от традиции подчинения.

This week, we invite you to experience Masaki Kobayashi’s historical Japanese drama “Samurai Rebellion” (1967). The film is recognised as one of the most important masterpieces in the jidaigeki genre. However, compared to many traditional samurai sagas, it stands out for its realism, deep immersion into the spirit of the era, and focus on family tragedy. Set in the Edo period (18th century), the story follows a samurai family whose patriarch, the celebrated swordsman Isaburo Sasahara (played by Toshiro Mifune), decides to defy his ruling clan to protect the honor of his son and daughter-in-law. Facing imminent death, the heroes refuse to follow the absurd will of the authorities and spark a revolt against the entrenched system. We invite you to join us for this powerful drama about the struggle for justice, personal freedom, and the rejection of the tradition of blind obedience.
